Semolina/sooji/rawa Fritters

A great tea time snack or an amazingly simple yet elegant appetizer. Fritters are very common and widely used form of food.There are many recipes and methods available.
Semolina fritters are the different and intresting deviations from the regular usual ones.

Semolina Fritters






Ingreidients:-
 
Semolina/Sooji/Rawa 1 cup
Milk 2cup
Yoghurt 2tb spoon
Water few t spoon
Red onion 1 medium finely chopped
Jalepenos 3-4 seeded and chopped
Cilantro 5-6 sprigs chopped
Red chillie powder 1 t spoon
Black crushed pepper to taste
Salt to taste
Oil to fry.
 
For presentation
Cucumber shavings
roasted red pepper squares
Chat masala few sprinkles
toothpick skewers
 
Method
  • Soak 1 cup semolina in 2 cup of milk in a bowl and set it aside for 30 mins.
  • Then to it add 2 tb spoon yoghurt.
  • Add water to adjust the consistency of batter.
  • Add red chille powder salt and pepper.
  • Add onion jalepeno and cilantro into the mix and give it a good stir.
  • Heat the oil in the pan.
  • Fry the fritters until golden brown.
  • Take them out onto the kitchen towel.
  • On a toothpick skewers,skewer roasted red pepper and cucumber shavings along with a fritter.
  • Arrange the skewers in a serving plate and sprinkle chat masala over it.
  • Serve these fritters along with your favourite condiments.
  • They go fast...such a hit they were in my party.
