Brussel Sprout Sabzi


Brussel Sprouts Sabzi.



Ingredients:

1lb fresh green medium size brussel sprouts(BS)
few sprigs of mint
half lime

Stuffing:
1/4cup gram flour
1-2tb spoon coriander powder
1 tb spoon red chilli powder
1/2 t spoon turmeric powder
1tspoon dry mango powder(aamchoor)
1tspoon chat masala
1t spoon ground fennel seeds(saunf)
1t spoon whole fennel seeds
1/2t spoon cumin
1/2 t spoon asfoetida
Salt to taste.
2tbspoon EVOO(extra virgin olive oil)


METHOD:

Wash and dry BS in a colander.
Make a cut /a cross on the stem side not on the bulb side
Boil them in a salted water  uncovered for 8 mins.
Meanwhile prepare stuffing.

STUFFING:
Dry roast grram flour in a wok and set aside.
Add coriander powder,red chilli powder,turmeric powder,
dry mango powder,ground fennel seed,salt to taste
whole fennel seed and asfoetida.
Mix it well with 1tbspoon EVOO.

PREPARATION:

Strain the boiled BS in a colander and set aside for 10-15 mins
Stuff them with the stuffing.
In a heated wok add 1tb spoon EVOO and crackle cumin
Add stuffed BS and let them sizzle for 10-15 min
Add lime juice and mint.
Turn off the heat and add chat masala....
Serve with roti or paranthas...
